Every listing on caterers.trade starts with a dotted mark: the details come from public sources and the owner has not confirmed them yet. Verify yours and it shows the solid badge:
What verification checks
That you run the business
We contact you on the phone number or email the business already publishes, not one sent to us.
Your registration
Your food business registration and current FSA hygiene rating are matched on the register. Businesses rated 0 to 2 are not listed, verified or not.
Your details
Address or base, services, the areas you cover, and public liability insurance if you want it shown.
What it does and does not do
The badge says the owner confirmed the listing and it was checked within the last year. It lapses if it is not renewed. It does not change where a listing appears: order on every page is how recently a listing was checked and how complete it is, and nothing about position is for sale. It is not a review or a recommendation of the food.
Verification is an annual fee, shown before you pay anything. Corrections and removals stay free for everyone, verified or not.
