How this directory works
A free listing of UK caterers, organised by town, county and by what they cook, with direct contact details and no quote forms in the way.
What we do
We list caterers based in UK towns and counties, alongside plain information about what each kind of catering involves and what it usually costs per head. You contact the business directly using the details on their page.
Food hygiene ratings
Where a caterer can be matched on the Food Standards Agency register, the listing shows its current rating as text, with the inspection date and the council that inspected it, and links to the FSA page. We list businesses rated 3, 4 or 5, or "Pass" in Scotland. Businesses rated 0, 1 or 2, or "Improvement Required", are not listed. A listing with no rating shown has not been matched, which often means a new business awaiting its first inspection; it is not a low rating.

What we do not do
- We take no commission and sell no leads. Listing is free; the optional owner verification is the only paid item, and it buys a badge, not a position.
- Position is never for sale. Listings are ordered by how recently they were checked and how complete they are, and by nothing else.
- We do not rank or review businesses. There are no scores and no verdicts here. We publish facts about who trades where and at what.
- We do not copy ratings or reviews from other platforms.
How listings get here
Businesses are found through public sources: local search listings, the FSA register, trade marketplaces and Companies House. Each listing records where the business is actually based and why we think so, and each page shows when it was last checked. Franchise networks and lead-generation sites that present one business as a local one in many towns are listed once, where the business is.
Owner verified badges
Every listing shows a dotted mark until its owner verifies it, and a solid Owner verified badge afterwards. Verification is a paid, annual check that the person running the listing is the business and that its details are current. It is the only thing on the site a business pays for, and it never changes the order listings appear in. How verification works.
Getting something changed
Every listing has a Modify listing button that reaches a person. Corrections are free and unconditional, and removal requests are honoured.
