Hog Roast Calculator
How big a pig you need for your guest count, served in rolls or plated, with a margin for appetites and seconds. A rule of thumb, not a quote.
How the numbers work
A dressed pig yields roughly half its weight as cooked, servable meat. Rolls use about 120 to 170 g of meat each; a plated portion about 200 to 250 g. These are rules of thumb used by hog roast caterers, not a quote.
