Brakes supplies ambient, chilled and frozen food, fresh meat and produce, drinks and catering disposables, under its own brands and other manufacturers' brands. Orders are placed online, or through telesales and account managers, and delivered from regional depots in temperature-controlled vehicles. Its site states that delivery runs Monday to Saturday nationwide and is free when an order meets the £150 minimum order value, and that new customers must work at or represent a UK business or organisation. New customers apply through a "become a customer" route on the site. Sysco GB also operates other businesses alongside Brakes, including Country Choice and a catering equipment arm.
